Introduction

He got the qualification in Optics in 1996 at Institute of Optics E. De Amicis (Rome), and in Optometry in 2002 at Institute of Optometry (ISSO, Rome). He cooperated with the Department of Ophthalmology at San Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome, and with the Regina Margherita Children Hospital in Turin. He received in 2008 the registration at General Optical Council (GOC) and at National Health System (NHS) to practice as Optometrist in the UK.

In the Uk, He was an Optometrist at Department of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Cognitive Neurology, Imperial College London, Charing Cross Hospital. He cooperated with the Neuro-otology Department at the same hospital, and with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square. In the UK, he was involved in the treatment of patients suffering from diplopia and nystagmus. He was also an Optometrist at Specsavers. In June 2021 he got the Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation at The American Institute of Balance (AIB-IVRC).

2011 he was also registered as Optometrist Practicioner in Hungary from the Állami Egészségügyi Ellátó Központ (AEEK) and to practice for the Hungarian Health System from the Magyar Egészségügyi Szakdolgozói Kamara (MESZK).

Pediatric and Geriatric Optometry, Neuro-optometry, Low vision, Vision therapy and binocular vision anomalies are his professional fields. He is an author of several international publications and he published books of optometry.
